A big thank you to all! For four years, our parish has come together to support our school at Hawktoberfest. Whether you sponsored our event, helped spread the word, attended Family Night or Night of Music (or both!), or kept us in your thoughts and prayers, your support has been invaluable. The weekend was fun, well-attended, and provided a great sense of community for our parish families and friends.
Family Night hosted over 430 children in our field and big top tent. Jumpees, live shows, crafts and games kept the kids energetic and entertained. Our goal was to provide a fun, family – friendly event where our neighbors can witness the wonderful atmosphere at St. Linus.
A little rain didn’t scare away anyone from the festivities on Saturday. A Night of Music brought in well over 300 adults who came to listen to some great music and meet old and new friends. This year, we were fortunate to welcome many alumni back to the school to participate in the fun. The alumni were greeted by our students and offered a tour of the school to reminisce the good old days. Next year, we will be honoring alumni form 1965, 1975, 1985, 1995 and 2005. Please spread the word!
