The pizza was delicious!

To wish our Hawks a blessed Good Friday at recess during Holy Week,
1st Graders, Aurora and Prince made their own tomb for Jesus.
Our littlest Hawks truly understand the meaning of Easter.

Congrats to our 8th Grade Boys for taking 1st Place
in the St. Linus Challenge Volleyball Tournament!

For Lent this year we did an all-school project “Walking With Jesus”.
Every student wrote down their Lenten promises on a foot and we hung them in the halls
to symbolize us “Walking with Jesus” - Here is the display in the Junior High hallway.

The 4th Grade used their knowledge of the scientific method
to set up an experiment, testing which liquid dissolves marshmallow Peeps the best!
Here are Tessa Dougherty, Nieve Curran and Annabelle Nowatski showing off their work.

The 8th Grade Boys Volleyball team used their Pack the House event
to not only honor the team but also to honor everyone affected by Breast Cancer.
It was a wonderful evening and the Lady in Pink was moved by the event
as well as all the prayers and kind words she has received the last 3 months.

St. Linus does Wrigley!
Our Daisy Troop represented Girl Scouts and our school at a game.
It was a sunny and beautiful day and the girls all enjoyed their first game!

Mrs. Powers’ class led us in our All-School Mass in April.
They did a great job reading, bringing up the gifts, and being altar servers.
Our choir helped to make the Mass beautiful as well.

The Kindergarten Classes spent an entire week
studying the many interesting and colorful creatures that live in the Coral reef!

Congrats to Vinny Drnovsek who placed 3rd and Eloise Gansel who placed 2nd
in the coloring contest for Oak Lawn Public Works.
They got to meet the Mayor and other Oak Lawn dignitaries
at a meeting to honor their accomplishment. Way to go Hawks!

Our 7th Grade Girls’ Volleyball Team took 2nd Place
in the Southside Catholic Conference Tournament.
Way to go girls. Bringing home the hardware!

What a great turnout we had for the South Side Irish Parade!
The weather did not “dampen” our good time.
The families wore their St. Linus, St. Patrick’s wear and showed off their St. Linus pride!
Thanks to all who braved the cold and snow!
