 Congratulations to this month's Reading iReady leaders!Our Eighth Grade was led by Julia Bishop with 11 completed Reading lessons!
 Also congratulations to Will Emmons and Gianna Gute for completing ALL the Reading  lessons!
 
 In Reading, the students in Ms. Anderson's 2nd Grade Classare  learning how to find details that support a fact.
 During class, students had to read and listen to a variety of facts and details.
 They  then had to find the classmate who had their coordinating information.
 Here are two students with information about an octopus.
 
 We celebrated our veterans with another outstanding Veterans’ Assembly!From the posting of the  flags, to the recognition of Veterans,
 to the students singing patriotic songs it was all beautifully  done.
 
 Our K-3 Students attended a musical performanceof  Peter and the Wolf at Moraine Valley College.
 The  students were asked to submit art work matching the  story to be used during the performance.
 There was an  orchestra, puppets, art work and audience participation.
 
 Our PreK Students had the opportunity to seeThe Three Little   Pigs at the Beverly Art Center!
 They had a wonderful time seeing live theatre and riding a bus for the first time!
 It was so   great to go on a field trip!
 
 Here are our 8th Graders in the Old State Capitol  during their trip to Springfield!This is a great trip  where are students get to learn about the history
 of  our great state and especially Lincoln’s History.
 
 Our 4th Grade Students made solar ovens in  Science Class!They used the ovens to cook up some  delish mini hot dogs!
 What a great STEM activity!
 
 Our 7th Grade Girls’ Basketball Team are the Southwest   Conference champs!They were undefeated in the league.

 Another successful Turkey Trot in the books!We had a record number 417 registered runners!

 Eighth Grade acted as peer editors for Fourth Gradewhen Mr. Miller brought his students up to the Junior High.
 They were happy to offer some helpful suggestions and guidance
 as the fourth graders wrote about places, people, and events they'd like to see in history!
