To end Homecoming Week we had a Pep Rally out on the Soccer Field!
Our mascot Hawkeye was there to greet the students
and high five all the 8th Grade Athletes who were introduced during the pep rally!
It was a beautiful week weather-wise and activity-wise.
Thanks to everyone who helped make it a success.

3-Year Preschool finished their Apples! Apples! Apples! theme
with Johnny Appleseed’s birthday celebration!
Here is Mrs. Kokaska’s class showing off their Johnny Appleseed hats!
Happy birthday Johnny Appleseed!

During Homecoming Week, our 8th Graders played against the teachers in a Softball Game.
A great time was had by all. The student body came out to cheer on their favorite team.
The teachers were victorious but it was quite a battle.

We are back at it again with our Hawks of the Week!
Students who are caught doing good deeds!
Here are Claire DiCola (5), Santiago Salas (1), Joel Nzmokola (5)
showing off their certificates for being Hawk of the Week! Way to go students!

Students in Fourth Grade Classes went outside and blew bubbles
to demonstrate
the refraction of the sun to create a mini rainbow
as well as used mirrors to reflect the sun.

We celebrated Homecoming Week with a pajama day and a movie in the afternoon.
Here is one of our preschool classes enjoying their movie in the comfort of their pj’s!
Thanks Student Government for a great Homecoming Week!

The 1st Graders got to meet their 7th Grade Sacramental Buddies!
They enjoyed coloring and talking to each other before
they went to their first all school Mass together! What a great experience.

We are so blessed to have a brand new piano lab this year.
Our music teacher put the lab together, found the pianos at a very good price
and our Hawk It Up group raised the funds for it!
Thank you to everyone especially all those who participate in Hawk It Up!

On 9/11 our Fifth Grade Classes walked over to the 9/11 Memorial
at the Oak Lawn Train Station and participated in the Memorial Tribute.
They had a chance to be a part of history and meet with some of our elected officials
including Mayor Vorderer! Thanks 5th Grade Teachers for doing this!
